Benefits
Benefits Intelligence
As a Benefit Admin, I want to understand which plans I can expect BDS to return as the highest value plan for each tier an employee may choose during an enrollment, so that I can forecast and possibly update future enrollment distribution, without manually evaluating this information.
Benefit Setup > Plans and Options – Round Coverage Amount after age reduction is applied on Life & Disability options.
With this feature, Benefit Administrators can now choose to round Coverage Amounts after age reduction is applied on Life & Disability plan options. Prior to this enhancement, any rounding rule defined within the Coverage Amount expression was always applied to the employee's coverage amount prior to age reduction begin applied. This caused incorrect Coverage Amount values for employees. This feature will provide more flexibility in defining how and when rounding needs to be applied to Coverage Amount calculations when age reduction is applied.
Benefit Plan Setup: Define age reduction based on the spouse's age
As a Benefit admin, I need to be able to define age reduction rules for a Life and Disability plan option based on the spouse's age, so that the Coverage amount is properly reduced, without the need to manually calculate the spouses age reduction on the employee's election.
New Employee UK Pension Worker Category and Member Status
A new "No Employer Duty" Worker Category and Member Status has been added to the Employee UK Pension UI. This will provide Pension Administrators with the ability to indicate if there is no Employer Duty required to assess an employee that is paid, but is not going to qualify for UK Pension Auto-enrollment. This may include contracted employees or employee's working outside of the UK.
Compensation
Copy compensation cycle
Compensation administrators can now create new compensation cycles by copying an existing cycle without having to enter all the different configurations from the beginning.
Report on employee promotions in a compensation cycles
Employee promotions data from worksheets in a compensation cycle is now available in report topics. Report can include current and new position titles, current and new compa-ratio, range penetration and location for old and new positions.
Report on worksheet status in a compensation cycle
Compensation reports can now include worksheet status including the approver name if the worksheet is pending approval. It also allows the administrators to report on a unpublished compensation cycle so that admin can review the worksheet set up in a compensation cycle before publishing the cycles.
Generate reward letters in PDF format
Managers can now generate reward letters in a pdf format without requiring to use the browser print function and save the reward letter as a pdf document. Managers can distribute the saved document to employees or print the document.
Quick search of manager (worksheet)
Admins and senior managers can now quickly locate a manager's worksheet from the hierarchy of worksheets within the org tab of a published cycle. This will allow the managers and admins to locate and navigate to the worksheet without having to manually drill down the entire hierarchy of the org tree in a compensation cycle.
Flag employees with rewards excluded in posting
Managers can now easily identify the employees whose bonus or salary changes were excluded by admin during the posting process. Admin may have excluded some employees as were terminated/inactive or on leave of absence during the compensation cycle process. This will prevent managers from accidentally generating reward letters for these employees.
Accurate calculation of time in position
The time in position calculation will not consider when employee changes location of their work assignment. The time in position metric displayed in worksheets is calculated based on the tenure of the employee in the current primary work assignment.
Dayforce Tax Engine
New Run/Filter Options for the Tax Calculation Details (TCD) Report
Payroll Administrators now have some run/filter options for the Tax Calculation Details (TCD) report to assist in focusing the report on the taxes or garnishments that are being researched or triaged. Using the filters will reduce the size of the report and make it easier to find the tax or garnishment needed. The default setting is to run for all taxes and garnishments.
Notes functionality is now available on the garnishment screen
The Notes functionality is now available on the garnishment screen. This functionality allows the user to add detailed comments as well as attachments (using the Documents feature) to employee’s garnishment screen.
Engagement
Enhanced Comment Review process
Ability to flag comments 'Reviewed' and 'Hide from managers' more efficiently directly form grid.
Human Resources
Mass Manager assignment
To enable administrators quickly process direct manager changes, we have added support for direct manager updates through the Edit feature in People.
Time in position improvement
Time in position will now include time where an employee changes locations but works in the same position. Previously time in position would reset when the employee changed location.
Automate PPACA override date upon rehire
Auto-population of the PPACA Override Date field when an employee is terminated and rehired within an eligible period based on compliance.
Check Work Rights integration
Integration with Check Work Rights to verify that Employees and Applicants have the right to work in Australia.
Mobile
Timesheet feature revamp
The iOS and Android Timesheet features have undergone a visual and functional overhaul to modernize the look and feel of the feature while enhancing the efficiency, accessibility, and overall user experience. Now, Timesheet users will be able to quickly add comments while entering pay adjustments, easily view all time entries across an entire pay period, and save new data while maintaining a clear view of added or modified time entries.
Onboarding
Accurate approval status of forms within a Guided Process
Forms within a guided process will display the accurate status if they are rejected within the workflow approval, and if the workflow includes the 'resubmit' node, the employee will have the ability to resubmit the form.
Optional forms in a Guided Process
Customers will have the option to designate forms within a Guided Process as required or optional and reflect this in the Count towards Onboarding Progress.
